What disappears, what remains, what is overwritten – and what happens in between?Three experimental documentaries and a radio play tell of the construction and dismantling of the Palace of the Republic in Berlin, a theatre that has disappeared in the East German provinces, and of senior citizens dubbing male roles in US action films.Together with filmmakers Kerstin Honeit and Susann Maria Hempel, FAV and the Frauen Film Fest Dortmund + Köln are exploring East German history and the present in this film evening and bringing different perspectives into dialogue
