FAVORITEN releases the 1st episode of the podcast “(UN)LEARNING THEATRE & CRISIS – Exercises in living together”.
The FAVORITEN Festival is offering a concentrated discussion format and at the same time an opportunity for reflection on theater.
FAVORITEN has chosen a special format for this:
three positions from art, activism and research will engage in a concentrated dialog and share their experiences and knowledge. In addition, a variety of voices from protagonists of NRW’s independent scene are featured in original sound bites. The series consists of four episodes, which will be published until the festival in September and are each dedicated to an issue in the context of current crises.
The first episode “Between Generation and Trauma” is now online! In this episode, Pauli Nafer, Alexis Rodríguez Suárez and Nesrin Tanç talk about questions of intergenerationality and trauma work. What discrepancies exist between generations and can bridges be built by dealing with collective trauma? In their discussion of the topic, the experts also talk in particular about collective trauma in connection with migration and origin.
