Denkraum der Utopien – a performance of sciences

The goal is clear: prevent the collapse of the planet. The demands of Fridays for Future and other initiatives are already on the table. They have been for a long time. And now? The project Denkraum der Utopien, a space to think about utopias, invites the public to shape the future. Together with artists, scientists and climate activists, they can develop visionary strategies for action. Surely we can’t afford to do without the benefits of doing without things? What can we, what can each individual do to achieve to a fairer climate transformation? Climate experts from the global south provide insights into the effects of the climate catastrophe in their countries, a cybernetic avatar searches for ways out of the climate crisis – and legendary beings raise questions about the limits of our imagination.
